Education and Background: I hold a BSc(Tech) in Applied Physics from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology and an MSc in Business Studies and Operational Research from the University of Warwick. I have worked in the Information Technology industry for over 30 years both in the UK and USA.
Technical Expertise: I am a member of the British Computer Society, the BCS Software Quality Management Group, a Chartered Engineer, a registered Lead TickIT Auditor (A003770), Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems, Training, Higher and Further Education, Management and Technical Consultancy undertaking work for Det Norske Veritas Quality Assurance. I am also a Certified Provisional SPICE Assessor (CPSA# 1007).
SPICE: As I am a CPSA I can carry out SPICE Conformant Assessments, SPICE awareness training and develop improvement strategies. The SPICE conformant assessments use software tool(s) to record and analyse the results providing objective evidence of the assessment. The SPICE Conformant Assessments can be used as evidence of Internal Audits for TickIT Certified companies.
QMS Certification and Internal Auditing: I can offer consultancy and Internal Quality Auditing for Quality Management Systems for TickIT, Training, Higher and Further Education, Management and Technical Consultancy.
